Revd Lucy Davis
Lucy is a parish priest and Dean of Women’s Ministry in St Alban’s Diocese. She is also Chair of the National Association of Diocesan Advisors in Women’s Ministry (NADAWM) in the Church of England.
Her first degree was in Geography, including the study of global development and the importance of the education and position of women as a force for good for whole communities.
After a period teaching in comprehensive schools, Lucy was ordained in 2012, just as the first vote for women in the Episcopacy failed to be passed in General Synod. Since then, she has advocated and worked for the flourishing of women in ministry at a local and national level within the Church.
As Trustee of a number of grant-making charities, Lucy has been involved with issues of governance and decision making around financial budgeting and sustainable growth.
